The Sanctuary was established in 1989 by the Department of Wildlife and National Park. Spend the day discovering and learning about the conservation the team provides. They protect elephants from all over Malaysia in their quest to protect the species from further decline in the population. A highlight of the day is watching the elephants care for their young, bathing and feeding them. (Bathing with the elephants is optional and is payable directly at the sanctuary)
